| Its been ages since i last updated this thing. Since my Miami trip nothing new has happened really. Only memorable thing was that UT won the ROSE bowl! woohoo! That made my year. Also, my old website from college is still actually up! Sure does give me some good memories from way back when... It was a different era, different time, and a different century. DANG I'm old. | I had a blast in Miami. Unfortunately I am too lazy to post pictures. If you want to see all the Miami pictures, just ask me. There are pictures of me dancing(which happens once in a blue moon), there are pictures of Michelles new look (you gotta see!), pictures of the girls in bikinis, and of course all the rest.
Other then my trip to Miami, work has been quite busy and boring. I just finished with a big project that was quite successful. Hopefully that'll get me a big raise or promotion. More money means more to spend!
Five more days until I go to Vancouver for a week. I cant wait! If anyone wants something from there, let me know. Oh yeah, sorry folks, I cant bring live animals back from Canada. So no beavers, or mooses, or penguins. Penguins come from the South pole Becky, sheesh. And yes, I have gotten requests to bring these animals back.
Heres something to think about... If someone has been to your place many a time, I mean like dozens and dozens, drunk and sober, what would you call this person if one day they went to a different apt thinking that it was mine? This person came to pick up some stuff, yet could not open the door with the key, banged on the door a few times, yelled my name a few times, then went home in frustration. This was at 12 noon too! | Its been a long time since I've updated this thing, unfortunatley what I am writing today is not good news. I just found out that Dennis Chen, iota class, died this morning in a car accident. Although I wasn't close to him personally, I still knew him pretty well. My best wishes go out to his family. Something this terrible makes one realize how easy it is to die, and puts your own life into perspective. We all should treasure the time that is given us. Stop whining about the things you dont have, and start appreciateing the things you do have. Rest in peace Dennis. | | |
| Its Friday, January 2nd, and I am at work of course. I was going to call in sick today, but I couldnt sleep. So I decided that I my as well come in for work and to save a PTO (Paid Time Off) day for a later date. I feel like crap though! Dont you just hate that zombie feeling you get when you dont sleep the night before? My new years resolution this year is to stop binge drinking, and to also not be so dang nice. During my restless night, I realized that I always think about everyone else's well being and comfort before I think of my own. Sometimes I even sacrifice my own enjoyment so that everyone else can be happy. From now on I am going to be selfish and mean, bah humbug. Oh wait, it is not in my nature to be mean and selfish. | Alright folks, its 2 days until Christmas, and I'm still working. I even have to work on Christmas eve for hevens sake! Anyways, I will be in Houston from this Thursday to Sunday.
